Writer or author

Five days a week I cut meat. But for an hour and a half I write, I edit, I journal, on the max. Portland is full of writers, sure. And everytime I reflect on my B.A. in writing, I consider the options ahead of me. Of course having graduated ten years ago, and cutting meat for ten years does not qualify me to edit a vietnam memoir, or outline my firstie steampunk fantasy, but how else do you become a developmental editor, right?

Here is where I start my journey to become an author, an editor. What I read today, sounds like good advice:

And then I found one book at amazon, on developmental editing, but its a little spendy.

Writing tip: (from the mobile desk of the unpublished)
Buy an 8×11 sketchbook for your outline. Someday, it might be the centerpiece of the Smithsonian.

Write or get off the bus.
