Five days a week I cut meat. But for an hour and a half I write, I edit, I journal, on the max. Portland is full of writers, sure. And everytime I reflect on my B.A. in writing, I consider the options ahead of me. Of course having graduated ten years ago, and cutting meat for ten years does not qualify me to edit a vietnam memoir, or outline my firstie steampunk fantasy, but how else do you become a developmental editor, right?

Buy an 8×11 sketchbook for your outline. Someday, it might be the centerpiece of the Smithsonian.
